Easy Marinated Tofu


It's easy to make marinated tofu using a few flavorful pantry staples. You can marinate tofu for as little as 15 minutes or overnight for a more flavorful result.

Main Ingredients

Extra firm tofu Veggie broth Soy sauce Apple cider vinegar Nutritional yeast Maple syrup Onion powder Garlic powder

For best results, start by pressing the tofu for at least 10 minutes. This removes extra liquid and allows the tofu to soak up more marinade.

Step 1

Dice the tofu into cubes, squares, triangles, or rectangles. You can also tear tofu into pieces.

Step 2

Whisk together the marinade. Pour over the diced tofu. Flip the tofu over halfway through marinating if it isn't fully covered.

Step 3

For crispy marinated tofu, cook it in a large skillet over medium-high heat until golden. Don't flip the tofu until it is fully cooked on one side.
