What you'll need
– 48 ounces unfiltered apple juice
– 1 teaspoon whole cloves
– 4 whole star anise
– 4 cinnamon sticks
– 2 medium navel oranges
– 12 ounces bourbon
– 1 medium Honeycrisp apple

To a large pot (4-6 quarts), add all ingredients, except for the orange slices, apple slices and bourbon.
Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.

Add the bourbon, orange slices and apple slices. Remove the spices before serving.
