This vegetarian pasta bake is made with seasoned tempeh, pantry staples, and a handful of fresh veggies!
Ziti, pasta and tomato sauce, bell pepper, onion, tempeh, zucchini
In a large pan, sauté the veggies and tempeh until softened and golden. Add Italian seasoning, soy sauce, and salt & pepper.
Combine the ziti, pasta sauce, tomato sauce, and veggies. Place in a 9x16 pan and top with shredded cheese.
Bake at 375 for 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Then broil until it is golden and bubbly.
Serve immediately. Garnish with basil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Enjoy!
this pasta bake can be made in advance, frozen, and makes great leftovers!
