You don't have to make your own pesto for pesto pasta. You can use store bought or homemade!
If using homemade pesto, start by making the pesto in a blender or food processor.
Add a few tablespoons of water from the cooked pasta to the pesto. This thins it into a sauce.
In a large skillet, sauté the zucchini and chickpeas with Italian seasoning.
Now all you have to do is toss all of the ingredients together to make the pesto pasta!
Pesto pasta takes under 30 minutes to make and is perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.
