3tablespoonslime juicefrom ~2 small limes (1.5 ounces)
3tablespoonssimple syrup(1.5 ounces)
3mediumice cubesmore as needed
salt or sugar, for the rim
Instructions
To make the simple syrup, Combine equal parts sugar and water in a small glass. I usually do ¼ cup water and ¼ cup sugar in a pint ball jar. Heat up in the microwave or on the stove until melted, stirring to fully combine. It's best if the simple syrup cools before adding it to the margarita. You can transfer a small amount to the freezer to cool it very quickly.
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth.
Add extra ice as needed and taste for lime juice and simple syrup.
Notes
Peaches: If you don't have frozen peaches, you can peel and slice a ripe peach. Freeze for at least 2 hours before using.
Lime juice: I recommend fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
Leftover simple syrup can be refrigerated for up to a week.
