This ginger peach smoothie is super creamy, made with Greek yogurt, and uses only 5 ingredients. It's ready in 5 minutes and also banana-free and easy to customize!

What would a peach blog be without a peach smoothie (or two peach smoothies)? This ginger peach yogurt smoothie is one of my favorite smoothies to make year-round because it uses frozen peaches and is simple yet flavorful.
This peach smoothie reminds me a little bit of the texture of mango lassi, just with mango instead of peach. It's thick and creamy but still refreshing and balanced!
Recipe features
- Flavors: Full of peach flavor from frozen peaches, along with light, refreshing, and zesty flavor from ginger. Unlike many smoothies, this one is made without bananas, so this is a good option for anyone who doesn't like banana flavor.
- Quick & easy: All you need is 5 ingredients and 5 minutes to make this smoothie!
- Texture: The smoothie is smooth and creamy, thanks to frozen peaches and Greek yogurt.
- Dietary features: vegetarian, nut-free, gluten-free, vegan optional (just use dairy-free yogurt
Ingredients and customization
- Frozen peaches: I use sliced frozen peaches for the best texture in peach smoothies. Using pre-frozen fruit also makes prep a lot quicker.
- Frozen mango complements the peach flavors well. Choose diced mango pieces.
- Minced ginger adds a bright, zesty kick. I mince my own ginger but you can use a jar of ginger to save on time.
- Yogurt: Greek yogurt adds protein and an extra creamy texture. I use plain yogurt to limit added sugars, but vanilla or peach flavored would be delicious. Use your favorite vegan yogurt to make dairy-free.
- Milk: Choose your favorite milk. I usually go for unsweetened and unflavored soy milk, but any kind works well here.
- Sweetener: If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add 1 teaspoon at a time of agave syrup or honey.
Steps to make this recipe
Like most smoothies, this peach yogurt smoothie is super easy to make. All you have to do is add the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
This ends up being a pretty thick smoothie because of the frozen peaches. You can add an extra splash of milk as needed to thin it out. Taste for sweeteners and adjust as needed.
Recipe FAQ
If using fresh peaches, I recommend peeling them because the peel will alter the texture if not blended thoroughly. If you don't mind a little extra texture, leave the peach skin on for extra fiber.
Peaches go well with most fruits but I think it pairs best with mango. Cherries, strawberries and banana are also great options.
I always use frozen fruit in smoothies for the best texture! You can use fresh fruit but I recommend blending in a few ice cubes as well.
For best quality, I recommend making this smoothie no more than 24 hours in advance. Cover and store in the fridge until ready to drink.

Notes
- Fresh vs frozen fruit: This smoothie can me made with fresh fruit instead of frozen. Substitute exact amounts of fresh for frozen. Blend in 1-2 cubes of ice for texture.
- Yogurt: I chose Greek yogurt for this recipe because it has a neutral flavor. Vanilla or peach would also go well. This recipe also works well with non-dairy yogurt.
- Milk: I choose unsweetened, unflavored soy milk but any kind of milk works well here.
- Sweetener: If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add 1 teaspoon at a time of agave syrup or honey.

Quick and easy to make and so Delicious 😋
I used almond milk and 1 tsp raw honey since my peaches need another 2 days to ripen fully.
